Should we lure people in with a dedicated page?

Just checking in with you guys... one of the things I do is SEO, or search engine optimization. I sometimes create pages designed to rank well in Google, so they bring people here for a specific purpose. You can see examples of the pages I did to attract former Answerbag and Experience Project members with the links at the bottom of every page. If you guys think there's a benefit to this (and some refugees from other sites have specifically requested that I NOT try to attract former members from their old sites), I'm glad to give it a go and see if we can bring people in.

If you guys see a benefit to this, please me a few "in-group" terms that regular members of those sites would use... For example, former Answerbag members were called ABers or Baggers. People from EP were called EPers or EPeeps. If you know of any phrases people would use in conversations of Blurtit or Ask or special features that they had that translate well to the Mug, I'll talk about them in some dedicated pages to try to bring more of your friends over.

  • We should just lure them in with Skittles!
