In researching background information prior to posting this question, I came across some interesting facts of which I had not previously been aware. Principal among them is that “Josef Stalin” is a pseudonym that he adopted for himself in 1912. I was a bit surprised to learn that in his younger years, he did quite well in his studies, and that he both wrote poetry and painted.
*Josef Stalin was born Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili in December of 1878. The Josef part is similar to his birth name, Ioseb, and is most likely a mere difference in spelling, pronunciation, culture, or language. The Stalin portion is interesting in that it appears to have been made up. “Stal” is the derivative of the word for steel, and when married to the suffix -in, it translates roughly to ‘Man of Steel’ (not unlike our Western Superman, Man of Steel). As an invented surname, there’s a possibility that it’s not very common at all, the... less

I went into someone’s profile last night and waded through a vast wasteland of pages upon pages of questions that had zero answers, clearly more than three quarters of the total number of questions posted. I bought thought that I had a poor showing of goose eggs with my myriad of silly Qs, but this person has far bypassed me both in quantity and percentage of the unanswered. For those of you who post questions, what’s your “Crickets Chirping” rate?~

EXAMPLE - what is heavier a pound of adult brains or a pound of baby brains? Cheers and happy weekend!

Your Chick-fil-A preferences reveal that you love stepping out of the normal comfort one. You like things that cliches. Being ordinary is what makes you YOU!

If she is having structual problems it could be my fault because when I suggested she should build a blanket fort I neglected to mention that blanket forts need a pillow fondation. Cheers and happy weekend!

Turned out they were protecting their nest that probablly had eggs in it. I'm probably a 100X bigger then both those birds put together plus I had a 36 inch hedge clipper in my hands so I thought it was very brave and loving of them. Cheers!

I have to write this down right away because I’ll forget it in no time. In my dream, I played in the Super Bowl. I don’t know which team I played for, the opposing team, the position I played, the date, the city, the stadium, I don’t even know the outcome of the game.
I wasn’t a regular player on the team, I worked a regular 9-to-5 job, but for some strange reason, I was called in to play in just that one game, the most important game of the season. A team bus stopped at my house in the wee hours of the morning to pick me up. I was wearing my jogging clothes and carrying two different pairs of my running shoes in my hands as I ran barefoot to get on the bus.
When we arrived at the venue, instead of going to a locker room, we went to a combination sky box/luxury seating area. They were the theatre-style seats, but much fancier. We were seated in the top few rows, but all the seats around us and below us were full of fan... less
