I'm a little worried it might be hard on his teeth though. Cheers and happy weekend!

I really love these girls and I really feel like I had the easiest job. They gave me such a huge lead all I had to do was take it across the finish line." You hear that and think, "You are a lovely and charming young lady, and you did more than just take it across the finish line, your acceleration in that last leg was absolutely incredible."
At the opposite end, after the Mens 4 x 100 relay, Usain Bolt was talking to the media saying, "I proved to the haters and the doubters that I really am the greatest," and he just came across as so arrogant that you find yourself ignoring the Jamaican team's success and cheering for the Japanese team because the announcer said that they didn't have the same foot-speed as some of the other teams but were incredibly efficient at handling their baton passes.
I'm assuming this kind of response is fairly typical. less

For example, I recently saw a text in which the word "speech" was spelled "speach". I mean, why? What purpose does it serve to insert the wrong letter when it is still the same number of letters as the correct spelling? Worse still, I remember seeing a text with an extra letter that shouldn't have been there, and the presence of the extra letter altered the pronunciation of the word. Instead of "gorgeous" it said "georgeous". Obviously, the first syllable of that would be pronounced like "George". I think a six-year-old would know that, so what was the point of that rogue "e"? What did the texter hope to achieve by putting it there? less

Why do you think that is?

This is just about the dorkiest song review I've ever seen. As if it's not dorky enough to choose a 1990 song as the silliest song of the 80s, this guy even goes as far as to misquote the lyrics for no other reason than to express his pompous, bigoted opinion of the song and try to make out that it's more nonsensical than it really is. I mean, really. What possesses this guy to make such a fool of himself on the Internet? less
