What if you later want to change back. Is there a standard procedure for reverting to your actual biological sex, say, if you didn’t like the smell of the other washroom, or were being constantly and unwantedly propositioned in there. Anyone know. Please treat this enquiry with seriousness and discretion, he has had it up to here with sneers and judgementalism (he says). less

I have an aunt whose sister-in-law sends chain messages to everyone she knows, and by extension, to many people she doesn’t really know but has their contact information. My wife and I only met her a few times back in the 1990s, we haven’t seen her since. She uses text messages, email, Facebook, Twitter, any form of social media that she can find, and she sends out chain messages about things such as religious, numerology-related, astrological, financial, educational, quality-of-life, child-rearing, recipes, lame jokes, famous quotes, book suggestions, whatever meets her fancy. She’s about 70 to 75 years old, she retired from a tech job a few years ago. If and when we block her on one medium, she crops up a few weeks later on another one. We have never forwarded even one of her chain messages to anyone, in the beginning, we used to tell her that, and it horrified her. Every time we asked her not to include us on her chain mailing lists, she was extremely offended and put out... less

What are the names of some cell phone service provider companies that you remember having existed at one time but are no longer in business?
Since the first cell phone (or mobile phone) service provider companies emerged over twenty years ago, many of them have come and gone. The strongest ones that survive today are in deep and fervent competition with each other for market share. It’s not always the largest or the best companies that remain in business, admittedly, some of them are pretty crappy. They might have been small regional entities, or subsidiaries of larger conglomerates, or country-specific, or attached to a particular product line. This question only refers to the service side of the business, not phone manufacturers, phone designers, etc. Of course, some companies did both service and products (hardware), so if your answer includes one of those, it’s the service side that I’m interested in here.

DAILY. A greeting hug the first time you see each other every day, and a goodbye hug at the end of the workday. It was considered cold, rude, and impolite to not hug each other because for them, the practice also has cultural significance.I wanted no parts of it, I avoided it every chance I could, I found it intrusive, fake, and forced, yet in order to get along, I had to go along. Then along came COVID19. Slowly, there were people who on their own began to break off all extraneous person-to-person contact such as hugging, but not the die-hards. When I balked at being hugged once, a die-hard actually said to me, “Aw, how long have we known each other? I‘m not worried about catching anythi... less

*Holy Grail means that it’s a type of play that during a game is repeated many times, moves the ball forward, improves the overall stats for the team, etc.Of course, any positive-yards play can fall into that criteria, but this poll question asks you to identify which one type of play is the most sought after and therefore the most stressed by the coaching staff during training. ~ less

I just watched “Out of the Past” (1947) starring Robert Mitchum, Kirk Douglas, and Jane Greer. I’ve seen parts of it before, but tonight was the first time I saw it from beginning to end. It’s a classic film noir selection with exactly that type of story line, and I loved it thoroughly.

Overall, I viewed older people with respect, didn't begin to find them very relatable until I was well into adulthood, even approaching middle-age. The older I get, the more I've realize that making assumptions about people based on their age is foolish and robs us of opportunities to learn from people both much older and much younger than ourselves. less
