As a homeowner looking to hire someone to do some work, I will certainly ensure he or she is licensed and bonded to protect myself, my property and my finances, but beyond 1) asking the question, and 2) verifying the answer before deciding whether or not to hire someone, what does being licensed and bonded actually mean?

I wrote to them saying I was strongly opposed to that as the man was it professional not a Slave and I didn't see how a black chef can be considered racist. So what do you all think? Shouldn't they make an exception foreign Cream of Wheat chef?

I can talk to people just fine, if I have to and we are 1-1, but if I don't have to and have no good reason to, I am just not the kind to engage in small-talk unless it's necessary! Am I alone?

I have only watched a few Lone Ranger shows but it seemed like he used a mask to cover up his eyes not his mouth. It would of made more sense if Trump said that wearing a mask makes him look like a doctor. Going to be interesting to see how the Trump team tries to spin Trump's stupid Lone Ranger remark. Cheers! less

I inadvertently shut down my phone just after putting a phone number into it and I had neither pressed dial nor saved it as a new contact. The people who gave me the number left, they will be waiting for me to call, and based on my assurances that I would do it, they did not get my number. It was a chance meeting, I don’t know where they live or work, and I don’t have any other way to contact them.

What I mean is that by the person’s general character, personality, demeanor, deportment, mood, you have a sense as to whether or not he or she is the type who does not tell jokes.

I am not referring to when the client herself requests that her hair be lopped off. It seems as if there’s some campaign among hair professionals that is decidedly against women having or keeping their hair long. Any variety of women’s hair styles, whether bald, extremely short, medium, long, or extra long, has its own attractiveness, so I am not stating that all women should only have long hair and anything else is ugly, that’s not my position at all. Additionally, I also acknowledge that a woman decides to change her style from one extreme to the other over time, whether that be at each visit or over a number of years/decades.
This question is precisely about long hair being whacked away at the stylists’ whims as opposed to the clients’ wishes or w... less
