If it were sooner than I wanted, I would prioritize my goals, and if it were later than expected, I’d just continue down the same path I am already on.
I recently thought of a question I thought was very similar to the sorts of questions RosieG asks, but I wasn't sure if such presumptuousness was allowed.

Or should you pick the candidate you think a might-vote-either-way swing state voter will prefer? Just how much should you compromise your political policy wishes for perceived electability?

For example, Ted Cruz gushes over Trump.... Yet, Trump accused Cruz's father of assassinating Kennedy, and said his wife is ugly.. Would a real Texas man like Cruz forget that??? Nahh, he wouldn't.. Trump called Marco Rubio small.. Is he gonna forget?? Nahh.. He called Lindsey Graham a nutjob.. Do I need to go on?? That's 4.. He's insulted at least 16 more. That's 20..So, back to the post.. Turns out Veep Pence was in on the Ukraine shakedown, so he's gonna get impeached too.. Third in line for the presidency is Speaker of the House - Nancy Pelosi.. Is it a coup??? Nahh.. It's a self inflicted impeachment.. Welcome Madam President.... less

It began as a habit of mine when I was young, in the days before cell phones and even before cordless phones, when all telephones had a cord. I was limited by the length of the cord, but there were times when I would go the entire extreme distance the cord allowed. Now that cords are less prevalent, I only do it every now and then. ~
