Do you think your own dreams are different from those of your parents at your age? Your grandparents? Do you believe your family has achieved, or is on the way to achieving, the American dream? Why or why not? Do you think you will be able to achieve the American dream when you are older? What leads you to believe this? Do you think the American dream is available to all Americans or are there boundaries and obstacles for some? If yes, what are they? Is the American dream a useful concept? Is it helpful in measuring our own or our country’s health and success? Do you believe it is, or has ever been, an ideal worth striving for? Is there any drawback to continuing to use the concept even as its meaning evolves? less

I am urged inwardly to put pen to paper and log my experiences of the last few months to maybe bolster other people who must endure this kind of circumstance. The waiting is horrific. Scary and especially if you are alone.

Then it possesses the staff of the Guilt Free Zone ( a bar) in humorous ways. I like the Guilt Free Zone because it can be pretty funny plus they have a rocking house band - it's on the APTN network. Cheers!
I pity the poor immigrant Who wished he'd stayed home Who uses all his power to do evilAnd in the end is always left alone
Like men who with his fingers cheatsAnd who lies with every breathWho passionately hate his lifeAnd likewise fears his death
I pity the poor immigrantWho's strength is all in vainWho's heaven is like iron sidesWho's tears fall like rain
Who eats but is not satisfied Who hears but does not seeWho falls in love with wealth and selfAnd turns his back on me
I pity the poor immigrantWho tramples through the mudWho fills his mouth with laughingAnd who builds his town with blood
Who visions it may finally endMust shatter like the glassI pity the poor immigrantWho his gladness comes surpass.
