She's certainly a pretty famous actor and gets a fair amount of praise, but most people don't know that she's a screenwriter too, and adapted the screenplay for Sense and Sensibility, a movie I really love.I think Adam Sandler deserves credit for his more serious roles. Most people see him as a childish comedian but he's much deeper than that, when he wants to be. less

I was thinking about my life.. people I've known.. things that happened.. and I got to wondering... what if someone hit and beat up their kids, allowed them to be abused... might they still be a nice person? What separates them from someone else who encouraged or drove them to do that.. is one a victim, are they both perhaps victims themselves? I suppose I wonder too... we are none of us perfect; we've all done things that others haven't.. like I think swinging and open relationships are perfectly ok for some people; and there's some research that suggests marriages in that set up are often stronger as there's greater communication and flexibility.. someone called me disgusting for saying that.. so we don't all think the same way.. what's right, what's wrong, what's good and what's bad... less

He showed me in his tool shed -thousands dollars worth of nice tools. Next day I came to work his tool she'd been broken into tools all gone.I heard couple guys talking "might not have been HIM but he might have told somebody'. My last one was messing up and the cord was unruly. It's sweet to me that he saw a need and fixed it.
