What's very worrisome now is that a Cat 5 hurricane is headed directly for Puerto Rico. About a million folks live there. The Island of Barbuda was destroyed by Irma but the population was very small. Some of the folks who are in Puerto Rico now fled from the Virgin Islands and Irma. Here they go again. Water is being rationed . I hope no one gets too thirsty.

For an artist who paints on canvas would hand size matter? After all it is the brush that actually touches the canvas, not the hands. For baking I think it takes large strong hands for kneading bread dough and a lot of strength to pull a 25lb roasted turkey out of the oven without dropping it. For a sculptor large strong hands could be an advantage. For a seamstress I don't see how it would matter. For a construction worker the bigger the better because I think we associate bigger with stronger.. less

Is there automatic protection or do you just roll the dice and take your chances?
When I see travel program set in foreign lands I always see a lot more people riding bikes. Good exercise. No pollution. Less expensive to operate. Why don't Americans do the same?

Something in common that unites the rich and the poor! Both groups "enjoy" having deadbeats among them. Is there a certain status in being wealthy and stiffing people? Do you look up to them, admire them, think they're swell? Getting away with something at the expense of others. Just another day at the office for some. SIGH

I've been super exhausted lately, and it finally dawned on me to check my supplements to see if something was up with them. The store was out of my regular brand last time, so I bought what they had, not realizing it was half the dose I normally take. Mystery solved. I started back on my normal dose yesterday. Last time I started supplements, it took two full weeks before I felt better- and that was on target for what my doctor said- 2-3 weeks. I don't want to be tired for two weeks. :'( Do any of you have experience with anemia? Is there anything that can be done while waiting on your stores to build back up?Failing that, what are the odds I can get away with staying in bed for the next two weeks straight? less
