However, I have never been invited to the person's place of work and I don't want to intrude. I originally had it set up to where the bakery was supposed to deliver it, which I thought was probably ok, but then the bakery told me they couldn't deliver because of some issues they're having, so I'll have to take it down. The items are special-ordered and prepaid, so I can't cancel. My current plan is to try to slide in all ninja-like and not get noticed or bother the person at all- just leave it at the front desk.Is that socially acceptable, super nice, or intrusive? less

Did the obituaries mention whom they loved by gender? For a man who NEVER SERVED HIS COUNTRY IN ANY CAPACITY I think it is quite deplorable that he attack one group and diminish its value. Who the he** is he to talk? He costs us a lotta money just to maintain his lavish lifestyle. But he is really cheap when it comes to the medical needs of our military. Does not speak well for him but then what does?. less
It seems to me that if you are willing to die for your country your country should be willing to take care of your medical needs. How do you put value on a life?

They could have done other things, had other careers and not have had the rug pulled out from under them by a bigot who is driven by the extreme religious right. Executives get "golden parachutes" when they leave a company. Often it is by choice. If successful these military folks will have no choice at all. That is not the way we should be treating those who have served our country. You don't just toss them out on the trash heap because a bunch of bigots want then to go. That is not the American way. That is the TRUMPIAN way but by golly he should not get away with it. It is shameful. less

Now I don't know if that's true or even how it would be possible but if it isn't why did he resign and why is the White House now minimizing his former position? Something stinks. Maybe the White House needs to be fumigated. Could be the bodies of dead vermin here and there that are decaying.
Hold out a helping hand. Give a word of encouragement. Offer a shoulder to cry on or an ear that is available to listen. People like that are very rare. Are you one of them?

Bezos is now in the grocery-store business, along with books, student loans, and other endeavors. Avacadoes and lobster are two foods that people really like, but that are more expensive. I guess you might consider them "luxury foods". Bezos is hoping to attract more customers to his new business by selling these items for a cheaper price? That is, cheaper than other stores sell them. Do you think it will work? less

There are other liquids besides water such as grain alcohol, rubbing alcohol, gasoline, benzene, olive oil and mercury. If you dip your finger into a pool of mercury your finger comes out dry. Dip a candle into water and it doesn't get wet. The molecules don't bond. They are not attracted to each other. Wetness is a relative term. Some liquids are wetter than others. Water isn't a very good wetter as liquids go. Alcohol is much better than water as a wetter. All liquids aren't wet and even water is sometimes dry.My oh my what you can find out when you ask Google a question. So the answer to "why is water wet" is complicated. less

Whereas with duplicity you have to think about all the ways you can be caught and figure out how to avoid them. That seems like a lot of hard work to me.
