This time tweeting United Airlines is discriminating against women wearing retro 80s leg warmers? Discrimination is understandable considering fashion sense but not because they are women.

If this is the top tier level of our knowledge on the subject, have any of you anything to add or maybe subtract from those statements? Why do we dream? What is the brain going through in terms of processes? Is it, as I strongly feel, a mixed collaboration of those 4 statements? In that they might all at once be the factors? less

The news about the wall say Trump is going to use eminent domain to take American's property to build the wal, so it will be built on IS property. Of course, the government has to pay property owners for the land. However, I see photos of Americans using the river for canoeing and fishing. If there is a wall there, it will be difficult to take your canoe over the wall. In some cases, like in the Big Bend National Park, it will be impossible. This wall seems like a "loser" for the US. Besides, sometimes, the river changes course. less

It’s why Google actively removes illegal imagery from our services — including search and Gmail — and immediately reports abuse to NCMEC. This evidence is regularly used to convict criminals. Each child sexual abuse image is given a unique digital fingerprint which enables our systems to identify those pictures, including in Gmail. It is important to remember that we only use this technology to identify child sexual abuse imagery, not other email content that could be associated with criminal activity (for example using email to plot a burglary).” less

I don't know the answer to this. On one hand I think that it's stupid to argue about things that don't really matter, but on the other, I would find it difficult to be friends with certain people because of their believes..We don't talk about those things any more. He comes to the house using some excuse and we sit on the porch. He tells me stories about the time when he was an oil rig engineer in Alaska a long time ago, and I mostly listen and smoke a bunch of cigarettes. less

Finalized in August and blocked by a court order in October, the rule would limit the ability of companies with recent safety problems to complete for government contracts unless they agreed to remedies.https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/republicans-poised-to-roll-back-worker-safety-regulations/2017/03/06/87a6c266-fd27-11e6-8f41-ea6ed597e4ca_story.html?utm_term=.ab867c9b2f3e less

Deanna Lynn Greer (37) and John David Cain (26) were the sellers. The price they asked was $3000. I expect legally adopting a baby costs a lot more than that. Poor baby. :(

It instructs:
1. The EPA to rewrite tough rules that now make it impossible to build a new coal-fired power plant.
2. The Interior Department to end Obama’s moratorium on new coal mines on federal lands, among other steps. Trump’s order will resume federal coal leasing.
3. All federal regulators to stop using the “social cost of carbon,” which attempts to quantify the effects of climate change, in economic analyses of future rules.
But hardliners and moderates in the White House couldn't agree on some things:
1. Trump won’t tell the EPA to reconsider the underlying policy that lets it regulate carbon emissions — the 2009 “endangerment finding” in which the EPA declared that greenhouse gas pollution threatens human... less

In many ways it actually contributes more to over-all pollution and increases the production and the use of plastics. How come there is no focus on separating organic waste that when added to the land benefits it from inorganic waste that damages it?The decomposed organic waste can even be saved and put into the market to offset costs and decrease the use of chemical fertilizers and soil compounds taken from the land. This would greatly reduce the size used for our dumping grounds of less environmentally friendly waste.Plastic recycling still needs new plastic for the process and requires more energy than virgin plastics. Glass can be 100% recycled but has no significant damaging health effect on the environment and transporting it to recycling just adds to the air pollution. Paper recycling is about a wash. The recycling of metal is really the only good that is concrete in being better to recycle than throw away.Got to bett... less
