It is one of those felt deer antler head bands that people wear on top of their head and tape it to his collar. He is looking pretty festive right now so it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The transaction was more than £5, which some businesses set as the lower limit for card payments. Had the barber told me that the card reader was broken, I might have believed him, but even this would have been a poor excuse, because with 4 or 5 people working there you'd expect them to have more than one card machine. If this had been eight or nine months ago, I would have been surprised, but with people increasingly using contactless payments even for small transactions since the start of the pandemic, a business refusing to take cards is an anachronism, and it makes me wonder whether there's something else going on.Do you think this could be a sign that the business is a money-laundering operation? less

For example you get a gig if you post the same answer when the same question is posted again. They call that "self plagiarism". They don't tell you that, they just send a nastygram telling you to clean up your act. I put up with that disrespect for a while and then ... Well, here I am back again.
