I usually do three loads every other Sunday, if available, which it usually is. I do my normal clothes, white socks, and towels/linens making it three loads for that day. If not available I do it the next day on Monday. I just like to start the new week with fresh stuff. Being a single guy, I only need to do to it every two weeks. I at least have enough to last me that time frame.I am finishing my laundry loads up now, which gave me the idea for the question. less

But, yesterday, I came across one where I was the third car in a row heading one direction (for argument's sake, we'll say we were westbound, but I really have no idea since we were in twisty-turny mountain roads...) and one car was headed eastbound. The leader of the pack with the westbound traffic arrived at the bridge first and proceeded onto the bridge without hesitation and the eastbound car waited by default. I figure the bridge was maybe as long as 10-15 vehicles... it took maybe 30-60 seconds to cross the bridge. In other words, it really didn't add much time onto the wait if the second two cars went, but if either of the second two paused to let opposing traffic go, they would have waited for both groups to cross- roughly 1.5-2 mins. The question is, should the second and third cars in my group have gone? Or should we have waited since the eastbound car was at the bridge before us?&n... less

It’s been since approximately the 1860s that such designations were first used, and for more than 100 years, they have changed back and forth almost as often as the weather has changed.

She also bends another pillow in half and places it on top of the one where she rests her head, making it a height of about 1 1/2 or 2 pillows. I call the entire assembly Pillow Mountain. It never lasts the entire night while she’s asleep, because some kind of tsunami or earthquake or cyclone or implosion takes place, pillows everywhere all over the bed. Some mornings, I can’t even find her right away; I have to burrow through the rubble and debris of the destruction she’s caused. I, on the other hand, can’t stand to sleep with more than just a single solitary pillow under my head, and that’s it. When I awake throughout the night or the next morning, mine is always right where I started out the night before. I don’t need pillows for any other part of my body.

There's actually a restaurant in my state that serves that!

This question was inspired because I’m watching a crime re-enactment show, and the murder “victim” did a great job remaining perfectly still, her chest did not move up and down to betray her live state, good job. However, her eyelashes kept fluttering (ever so slightly), and her and her eyelids twitched at least once or twice. I’ve often wondered why producers and directors don’t opt for a still shot of the supposed “deceased” so as not to worry about requiring a live human to pass himself or herself off as a dead one.

I might get a hardback if the book doesn’t come in softback form or if the book is perhaps a very special one to me.
