Is it a sign of weakness, or a sign of humility, or a sign of something else entirely? It’s extremely easy to badmouth a politician you dislike or despise or outright hate, but if there one (or more) of them who has your admiration and respect, this post focuses more on that aspect rather than spewing venom at an easy target. I purposefully aim the discussion toward your positive outlooks on people who have then committed a misfortune or wrongful action so that it’s not a smear of your opponents nor a kiss-up session of your proponents. No human is infallible. The way he or she handles missteps is a telling view of character and aplomb. less

Why can’t politicians in general (this is not about any particular person or party) be straightforward about experiencing reverse thinking on a serious and pertinent issue instead of burying it in subterfuge and double-talk that tries to disguise a perfectly normal human action? I have no expectation that any political figure should be superhuman, and I don’t see changing one’s mind as an automatic symbol of weakness. less

I'm listening to the song now - - five minutes is a long time but if you're unfamiliar with Simple Minds and/or this song, consider listening. No promises you'll like it but it's my favorite song from them.(and I know I posted a similar question already in the past, ha)

The senior class ahead of mine bought him the trench coat, ours got him the scarf - he was a good sport about it, wore them in cold weather and even handed out jelly babies in class. We also had a science teacher who was a dead ringer for Irish singer Feargal Sharkey.

Bud: ‘You can’t come in here!’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Well because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick.’
Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’
Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’
Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Yes.’
Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’
Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’

But I will be posting another drawing thread out there soon for them to pick-out more drawing requests, then I will look through & calculate rest of the piece wise math I copied that if I didn’t see other replies from you. May each of you do just the drawing replies on the drawing thread if I post that, and keep the math replies in the posted math thread(s)? And I will start working on that math now- less
